The 2023 Terrain comes in four trim levels, including the SLE, which features C-shaped LED headlights and taillights. Engine
Every 2023 Terrain trim lets you enjoy a 1.5-liter Turbo four-cylinder engine featuring an output of 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. This lively output enables a 1,500-pound towing capacity. The engine's fuel-saving features, such as direct injection and variable valve timing, make it incredibly efficient.
Performance
A nine-speed automatic transmission optimizes engine output and efficiency while enabling seamless, straightforward acceleration. The SLE and SLT feature a nimble front-wheel-drive system that makes it easy to maneuver through traffic and perform cornering maneuvers. With the AT4 and Denali, you get an all-wheel-drive system that monitors all four wheels and makes adjustments to maximize traction in challenging conditions. Every Denali gets a MacPherson front suspension and a four-link rear suspension that minimizes road irregularities to create a smoother ride.
Interior
The 2023 Terrain seats five and is available with cloth or leather seating surfaces depending on your trim. All trims, excluding the SLE, feature an eight-way power driver's seat with lumbar support, ambient lighting, and a heated steering wheel. The Denali comes standard with a seven-speaker audio system from Bose, a wireless charging pad, and a head-up display that projects vehicle information in your line of sight so you don't have to take your eyes off the road. The 8-inch infotainment system allows you to access playlists, get navigation assistance, and send hands-free texts.
Safety Features
The GMC Pro Safety Plus system comes standard in the Denali and is available for lower trims. It features a forward-collision alert that scans the road for hazards and activates the automatic emergency braking when necessary. A lane-departure warning alerts you to unintentional drifting, while lane-keeping assistance deploys corrective steering.
